Are Thermos products safe to use?
All Thermos products meet the EU food standards - EN12456-1:2000 and are all free from BPA, BPS and asbestos.
What materials are Thermos products made from?
Thermos only use food grade 18/8 stainless steel for all steel products. Thermos hydration bottles are made from BPA-free Eastman Tritan™. All lids, stoppers and cups are made from polypropylene and the seals are silicone.
Can I put my Thermos in the dishwasher?
Thermos do not recommend you use a Dish Washer but rather wash your Thermos by hand with warm soapy water. Never fully immerse your product in water.
How do I keep my drinks hot for longer ?
We recommend you always pre-heat your Thermos Flask before using. The easiest way is to fill your Flask with boiling water and leave to stand for 10 minutes. Then just before you pour in your hot drink empty the water out.
Adding milk straight from the fridge can reduce the temperature of your drink by up to 10 degrees, so maybe consider taking milk in another smaller Thermos Flask, or use warm milk for coffee.
Make sure you fill your Flask just below the stopper to minimise airgaps and close the stopper immediately. Remember that once you open your Thermos Flask cold air will immediately enter and your drink will start to cool. The more you open and close the cooler your drink becomes.
A great tip:
Large Thermos Flasks like the Stainless King 1.2L capacity will keep drinks hot up to 18-24 hours dependent on usage and ambient temperatures. Smaller capacity Thermos flasks like Stainless King 0.47L will be around 12-18 hours. This is because larger capacities will retain heat longer as they have more volume. If you are making a long trip or have a full day ahead a great tip is to take 2 Thermos Flasks 0.5L and 1.0L. Use the small Thermos in the morning then switch to the larger 1.0L Thermos later in the day.

What is the difference between Thermos and the Thermocafe Brand?
Thermos Thermocafe brand generally refers to products that have been produced by Thermos for everyday usage. It's best explained by comparing 2 Thermos Flasks like the Ultimate and Thermocafe Flask
The Thermos Ultimate is specifically designed for environment's that demand the highest heat retentions and specifications, such as high trail walking or expeditions with up to 24 hours performance. The materials used are the best, but then the price is the top of the range in excess of £30 per Flask. It also has a 5 year warranty for defective workmanshiop
The Thermos Thermocafe flask priced around £15 is the perfect flask if you are using it within an 8 hour period. Family picnics, lunch at work, Sunday morning football. The Thermoscafe ranges have a 1 year warranty.
Both flasks perform well, it just depends where you want to use it and under what conditions.

Are seals available for Thermos products?
Flasks Online are the only retailer of genuine Thermos Spare Parts we do try and stock as many as we can however, the seals are not available separately.

Are Thermos Products covered by any warranty.
The vast majority of Thermos products have a 5 year warranty for any manufacturers defects. The only exception being Thermos Thermocafe products which have 1 year warranty.
The warranty period is shown in our product descriptions.
Please remember to always keep your receipt as this is required to validate any warranty claims.
Ordering
Can I cancel or change my order?
Orders are usually despatched within 12-24 hours of receipt. If
during this time you wish to cancel your order please email or
telephone us and we will try and cancel the order. However, there is
possibility it has been packed and it is with the courier.
Any cancelled orders will be refunded immediately to your original payment method.
What payment methods do you accept?
Payments can be paid through debit or credit card, Paypal and apple/google pay.
Cards we accept, Visa, Mastercard, Maestro and American Express.

Where is my order?
Our standard orders typically arrive within 2-3 working days, however Royal Mail can take up 5 working days. If your parcel has not arrived within 5 working days please contact our Customer Service team who will look into this for you.
Next Day Courier orders should arrive the next working day if placed before 2pm the following day. If your parcel has not arrived please contact us.
How much does delivery cost?
Standard Delivery
Standard delivery is FREE within the UK. We aim to pick your order within 24 hours and you should recieve your order within 3-5 working days. The vast majority are sent via Royal Mail Tracked 48 hour service . You will receive a text from the Royal Mail advising status of your delivery.
NEXT DAY
We do offer a Next Day courier service which is an extra £6.95.
Next day orders must be recieved before 2pm
You can add the next day delivery service to your basket on the checkout page. The courier will text and advise you of your delivery time which can be between 8am- 6pm
Which courier do you use?
All our standard delivery parcels are sent via Royal Mail Tracked 48.
For Next Day deliveries we mainly use DHL, although to certain postcodes we use Royal Mail Special delivery.
How long will delivery take?
For standard delivery parcels Royal Mail will aim to deliver your parcel within 2-3 working days. Most parcels arrive within this time frame however, please allow up to 5 working days, especially in our busiest times.
Next working day deliveries will be delivered on the next working day provided they have been ordered before 2pm.
Orders received after 2pm Thursday will be despatched Friday to arrive Monday. Orders received after 2pm Friday will be despatched Monday to arrive Tuesday.
Next day delivery is unavailable when the following day is a Bank Holiday, and orders placed on these dates will be delivered as soon as possible thereafter.
Will I get a tracking number?
For the standard delivery parcels Royal Mail will update you via email or text message when they are due to deliver your order. Should you not be available to take delivery you may be able to change this using the Royal Mail app or via their website.
Next day delivery parcels, we will send you your DHL tracking number via email and you will also get updated via DHL.
Returns
Can I return my item.
If you wish to return an item for any reason, we will provide you with a refund or replacement. Please notify our Customer Service Team within 14 calendar days from the day after delivery by email; admin@flasksonline.co.uk or phone; 01924 666801.
When returning please note;
- Please ensure a copy of your invoice is returned with the goods, and where possible please include tags and any packaging.
- It is your responsibility to ensure that the item is packaged carefully. Failure to do so may result in your return being refused and/or any refund due being reduced.
- We cannot accept any return items which have been used.
- The cost of returning the item to us is your responsibility.
- We recommend you obtain your receipt as proof of return from your local Post Office.
- Please do not return any items that were purchased from another retailer.
Any returns which are after 14 days are at our discretion.

My item has a fault, what do I do?
If your Thermos flask has developed a fault and it was purchased through our store www.flasksonline.co.uk , please contact our Customer Service Team and they will assist you.
If you have a faulty Thermos item which has been purchased through another outlet please contact the retailer directly.
