At Flasksonline we are often asked what is the country of origin of the Thermos items?  The simple answer is there are many Thermos production sites.

The history of Thermos manufacture can be traced back to the early 1900's in German where the process of Flask making was commercialised. Moving theng to the UK, where the largest production facility opened soon after. It remained mostly based in the UK during the inter war years.  After 1945 Thermos extended its production globally particularly towards the USA as the market for consumer goods expanded rapidly.  Today Thermos still has a major presence in the US, where it is the leading brand, but in the last 50 years it has grown to become a truly global brand with sales in over 100 countries. It is the leading and most recognised brand of Flasks in the world.

Today manufacturing facilities are spread across 4 continents with either directly controlled operations or partner factories.
